Okefenokee Swamp-
For nature lovers, adventurers, educators and families, the Gateway to the Okefenokee Swamp is located just 10 miles outside town. You will find a museum, nature walks, a board walk, the Chesser Island Homestead, canoeing, boating, fishing and camping. There is always something going on down at the Swamp. Folkston Train Funnel-
There are around 40 - 70 trains per day that clamour through downtown Folkston's double track which is the main artery for railroad traffic to and from Florida. Sit conveniently on the Train Platform and listen to the train conductors as they amble through. Plenty of locations to take excellent pictures and videos.
